LEARNING TIME STATION IS NOW ACCEPTING CCA / CCMS

WHATS NEW (CURRICULUM ACTIVITES) – Spanish, Computer, Dance, PE & Nutrition, Art’s & Crafts, Music & Bible classes have now been added to the Toddler/Two’s & Pre-k curriculum.

PARENT’S :  PLEASE REMEMBER IF MISD IS CLOSED DUE TO BAD WEATHER, SO IS LEARNING TIME STATION!

MISD SCHOOL CLOSINGS-February 3^rd, 2012 add $15.00 per child (Staff Development Day).  March 12^th – 16^th, 2012 Spring Break week. (Schooler’s tuition $115.00 for week includes all field trips and activities).  Early release February 22^nd, 2012.  April 6^th, 2012 add $15.00 per child (Good Friday).  

HOLIDAY CLOSING – Our scheduled closing for Memorial Day holiday is: Monday May 28^h, 2012.  We wish you and your Families a safe and wonderful holiday!

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME – Parents remember daylight savings time begins Sunday March 11^th, 2012, remember to set your clocks forward.  (SPRING FORWARD)!!!

SPECIAL EVENTS: MISD SPRING BREAK-Begins March 12^th through March 16^th 2012.  If your schooler plans on attending, tuition for the week is $115.00 per child, this rate includes all field trips and special activities we have planned for the week.  If your child is not in attendance the normal tuition of $55.00 will be due at the first of the week.  We plan on an awesome week of fun filled activities!!!

St: Patrick’s Day:  We will have our annual green costume contest on March 16^th, 2012.

Easter Egg Hunt:  We will be having our 8^th annual Easter egg hunt on Wednesday April 4^th, 2012. We will be asking parents to bring wrapped candy filled plastic Easter eggs to help make our egg hunt successful.  HAPPY EASTER!

PARENT’S REMINDER:  Parent’s please remember our hours of operation are from 6:00am to 6:30pm.  Please arrive on time to pick up your children and keep in mind that if your child has an evening activity, have him/her dress in their uniforms before your arrival.  Our days are very long and we would like to be able to leave by 6:30pm.  Please remember during Holiday breaks schooler tuition is $115.00 a week if your child is in attendance, if out normal tuition is due unless you have an earned vacation week.  Please let me know in advance if your child is taking his/her vacation during the holidays.  Also please remember for non-public school days (NPS) add $15.00 for that day for your schooler’s tuition.  Thanks for your continued support  

Welcome our new teacher:  Ms. Danielle she is now teaching our Pre-k three classroom.  She comes to us from Atlanta GA.  She has already made a special impact on your children’s lives.  Her teaching skills are excellent and I see the benefits your children are receiving daily.  Be sure to stop by and say hello.

  Ms. Danielle will be moving to our Pre-K Fours & Fives at the end of April.  We will be loosing Ms Ashley back to California; we are all sad but wish her the best of luck.   

UPDATED FILES – Infants, Toddlers, Two’s & Pre-K Parents remember when your child is updated on vaccinations, hearing & vision screening; please bring a copy of current records for their files.

Ms. Suzan is the director on staff here at Learning Time Station, she is available to help you with any questions you may have.

TEACHERS – Crawlers (6wks – 18mths) Ms. Tessie started December 14^th, 2009. She really loves the crawlers. We truly appreciate her.  We are watching our infants grow very quickly!!!  GREAT JOB!!! 

First Steps (18mths – 25mths) Terrific Toddler/Twos: Ms. America (yes that’s really her name) she is Ms. Claudia’s sister and a great addition to our teaching staff.  Ms. America is working with our toddler/two year olds. Her dedication and hard work are very apparent. Her potty training skills are awesome!  She is always working very hard with your children. I know your children will love her!  She already loves them! We are excited to have her!

 I would like to give a great big thank you to these teachers for their patience, what an awesome job they do while caring for your children.

Ready, Set, Learn (3 yrs.): Ms. Jennifer is teaching your Pre-k 3 yr. olds, she has been with LTS since August 25^th, 2009.   She originally started in the toddler/twos and has since transferred to our 3 yr. old classroom. Her teaching skills are awesome!  She is always on top of things and always working very hard with your children.  We are lucky to have her! 

 Ready, Set, Learn the Journey Begins (4 & 5 yrs):  Ms. Danielle is now working with your Pre-k 4 & 5’s to prepare them for their journey off to kindergarten.  MISD Kindergarten teachers are very impressed when a child leaves LTS and heads off to their classroom, because are students are more than ready, they are prepared for kindergarten!  Ms. Danielle always finds new and adventurous subjects to keep your child’s interest peeked.  Awesome job!

Girls Rock (5yrs to 13yrs) is brought to you by Ms. Claudia) who joined the LTS staff March 31^st, 2010 & Boys Roll is brought to you by Ms. Shamonda who returned back to LTS this summer.  Claudia is attending college to pursue a teaching career. Her education is a great asset and keeps them informed on new activities while caring for the schooler’s.   Way to go Ms Claudia.  Ms. Shamonda is not new to childcare, she has returned back to LTS from caring for senior citizens, we are glad to have her back!  Thanks for keeping your schooler’s entertained during Learning Time Station’s after-school program!  Thanks for sharing your knowledge.  I want to thank all of our teachers and staff for their patience, what an awesome job they do while caring for your children
